How it all began
In 2003, Scott and Sarah embarked on their journey with Bascombe Auto Ag, beginning their operations from the old ETSA works depot located on the outskirts of town. Their initial scope encompassed servicing and repairing various types of cars and farm machinery. At that time, their team consisted of a single apprentice, with Scott handling the tools and Sarah diligently managing the administrative aspects.

Their progress and success were the result of relentless dedication, a steadfast commitment to customer service, and an unwavering dedication to ethical practices. Over the years, Bascombe Auto Ag has flourished into a prominent farm machinery dealership, serving the Eyre Peninsula and West Coast of South Australia.
After two decades of hard work and dedication, Scott and Sarah made the decision to pass the torch to the East family from Kadina in June 2023. The Easts are a fourth-generation family-owned business with a remarkable 80-year legacy of serving South Australian farmers. This transition represents a seamless continuation and expansion of the invaluable services Bascombe Auto Ag has provided to the community for the past two decades.

Scott and Sarah have chosen to remain actively involved in the business, ensuring the continuity and growth of the services they have been offering to the community for the past 20 years. Their enduring commitment to serving the community remains steadfast as they move forward with this transition.
